Pls： Mid-Autumn festival is one of our biggest Traditional festival.  the other two  Traditional festival are Spring Festival and Dragon Boat Festival.
For this festival we have a beautiful story about a Couple people. 

Long long agao, there have 9 sun in the sky, which makes people feel very hot, Houyi is the man who makeing cake and selling cake, at his free time he like shooting , all people want him help to shooting the sun off,  he tried many times and finally he successfully shot the 8 sun down.
The king heard the news feel happy， order the Minister to give him a medicine who eat it and never die， always younger.

His wife is the most beautiful lady in the country named Chang'E, She want to keep herself young forever, so she eat the medicine, but she don't know after eating the medicine she will fly to the moon. so she  living in the moon without friends, family. After a long time she feel lonely, and miss her husband so much, so she make the cake and throw the cake through the moon in Chinese time 15th August, and in the earth people got the cake which is drop down from the moon, they  think it is lucky to get the cake, so people name the cake for moon cake. 

And every year of Lunar August 15th celebrate it and eat the lucky moon cake together with family.
